1:15PM

I am cleaning house today and I have WAY too many t-shirts, mostly XL and some large.

Plus I have tons of vintage button downs and even some work shirts with "Big AL's Crawdad boil"....even have some ladies stuff.....I just need to get rid of some stuff and am too lazy to e-bay.

This is a grab bag type deal....but tell me what kind you want and I might be able to fit it to your desires.

Of course I will take a cool shirt in exchange for one of mine. ALL USED....some more than others.

I would say $5 would cover shipping, paypal abarthd@yahoo.com

I will not guarantee quick shipping, but I will send all before then end of the summer.

12:17PM

And ... three new ones!

11:20AM

Kat has been working out at her mom's all week... So she hasn't been online.

I miss her. :(

I didn't realize how much she meant to my day.  I mean, I knew I enjoyed IMing with her, and seeing her at lunch...But Man! Since I haven't, my days have DRUG on.  I'm kind of lonely (sorry if I've been pestering anyone on Gchat. hehe).

We get home and I don't want to go to bed, because I don't want to miss out on any time with her.

My wife: She's awesome and I love her.

3:15PM - Dammit Tom Waits!

Ok, so Tom Waits is meandering though Houston right around my birthday and I thought, "Hey! Tom Waits! I should get tickets!"

Except, he's not playing in some dive bar.

He's using Ticketbastard's new paperless ticket process, which is supposed to be anti-scalper but just ends up being fucking expensive.

$85.

Eighty-five freaking dollars for the ticket, plus Ticketbastard's "nominal" charge which makes the tickets $110.

But its my birthday right?

The best seats I could get were the very last row, on the outside near the aisle.

My finger hovered over the purchase button. HOVERED.

But the timer expired. I tried to do the thing again and found the whole concert was sold out. 11 minutes after release. Two tickets per person ONLY. Sold the fuck out.

Alas.

10:12AM

Through a strange twist of fate, the power of Gorlak the Mighty, and the Magnificence of Sponge...

...I have a 3rd row ticket to the Tom Waits show in Houston.

8:01AM - $$$

I have been stimulated by George Bush today..WOOT!

1:25PM - Artomatic this weekend

I'm thinking about going to 'Meet The Artists' night tomorrow, but will be making an early night of it since I have to be at work the next morning at 5:30 am.

I am, however, going on Saturday. I may stay for Dirty River and American Sinner's performances, or I may just head out to Midnight after a bit. Chances are I'll be running around with my friend Perry and his nephew Andrew (some of you may have met Perry at Heather & I's wedding, or met Perry and his family at my 30th birthday party).

Anyone have similar plans and want to meet up?

10:52AM - Mortgage

The county misrepresented my annual taxes, thus my mortgage escrow was calculated wrong, thus I am deply in the hole, thus my mortgage payments just went up $100. Great timing......

10:29AM - Bike looking!!!

So I've been giving it some thought, and I've decided to start riding a bike to work (excepting Kylie and rain days).  But the problem is...I don't currently have a bike.  So I'm in the market for one.  I'm looking for a road or hybrid or mountain or cruiser style bike.  (24" or 550-600) No BMX please, haha.  Anywhere from 3 to 21 gears, in any condition from fair to excellent.

I'm figuring a modest budget...no low with maybe a $50 -75 high?  I might be able to go more, but not much more.

I'm looking at stores now, and I'd be willing to try Craigslist or Freecycle, but I never have ANY luck there...so I don't really bother.  But if any of you are selling a bike, or know someone who is, or see one for sale, let me know would you?

I'd like to get this started as soon as possible.

Thanks!

EDIT: I may have found what I'm looking for. [info]tinker has lots of bike parts in storage...We're gonna start with a frame and see if we have enough parts to get a bike together. I'll piecemeal the rest as needed.

Thanks for your help everyone!

9:28AM - Upcoming trip and my weirdness

Seven more days until I fly to Phoenix to see mah best bitch!!! And omg, I just read about this brand-new Whole Foods in Scottsdale Chandler.

"The 60,000-square-foot market, which is going up on the southeast corner of the Loop 101 and Ray Road, will offer a tapas and wine bar in its specialty department. Other in-store eateries include an Asian area, Taqueria and Churrascharia, a South American rotisserie style of meats.

In the meat and seafood department, shoppers can sit down and order a burger, fries and beer, Frumkin said. Shoppers will also be able to buy meats and have them cooked to take home.

A tea bar will be in the store's body-care area. And coffee drinkers will be able to buy ground coffee fresh from an onsite coffee roaster."

OMGAVJLJ^QIYJIE%$YLRTK^UJN&. Here's the rest of the article from the Arizona Republic. This thing might very well replace Central Market as my official Mecca.

I know, I know...I'm very speshul.

Tom Waits - Houston
or
Tom Waits - Dallas

Tickets go on sale tomorrow for both.
I need to figure which one I will scramble for.

There is more of a chance that I will know more people at the Houston show, but Dallas would be easier for me with my work schedule.

What is your plan, Sponge?
